Chateau Engalin, near Toulouse, is unlike anything else in France. Steeped in history, this ancient site with its romantic restored Rose Chapel Ruin has been re-imagined into a chic, contemporary wedding venue. Weddings at Chateau Engalin are immersive, transformative experiences that bring families and friends together in a series of exciting, oversized spaces, where delicious foods and wines are served to create the ultimate party atmosphere.
Chateau Engalin represents the ultimate wedding venue from modern fine-dining to lively pool parties.
Nestled on the top of a hill and set amongst 13 hectares of rustic, rural farmland, the chateau offers surprising contrasts of old and new. Slip behind the large black signature wall and the wow factor is immediately apparent. But this is no fairy tale princess’ castle: Chateau Engalin is modern, sophisticated, and incredibly chic. It is minimalism punctuated with eclectic.
Enter through the main doors and discover considered, contemporary interiors that mix bold, architecturally inspired design with authentic features. The fun and artistic flair of this venue will appeal to style conscious couples who embrace the unexpected.
Inside the Chateau, raw concrete has been softened with natural textures, custom made furnishings and soft, mood enhancing lighting. The art collection is constantly evolving and includes commissioned works and sculptures.
One key highlight of the venue is the many diverse event spaces – inside and out. Each space has been carefully designed to enhance the intense pleasure of eating great food, drinking something delicious, enjoying art, nature, architecture, and the soft undulating landscape around you.
A pre-party drink in any of the unimaginable spaces, sets the mood for dinner. A wedding at Chateau Engalin is a three-night event and is distinguished by its in-house FoodLab, producing gastronomic and experimental terroir-fusion food menus plus an in-house sommelier led drinks menu including natural and classic French wines.
The estate can sleep up to 34 people in 14 well styled bedrooms. The rooms are split between the Chateau (6 en-suite bedrooms) and an elegant black Woodbarn (8 en-suite bedrooms). There is plenty of accommodation close by for the rest of your wedding guests.
