Located in South West France, Aveyron is a great wedding destination for outdoor lovers!

Its wide open spaces – limestone plateaus, canyons, mountains, waterfalls and lakes will leave you speechless.

Plus you will find in Aveyron plenty of historic buildings and scenic villages such as Conques, the jewel of Romanesque art; in Summer you will also enjoy the friendly atmosphere of festivals and markets, as well as many museums.

Finally Aveyron is a must for the food connoisseur. There don’t miss sampling the local gastronomy, for instance (to name a few!) the famous Aligot (a mouth watering cheese and potato dish), the fouace cake, the foie gras, and the inevitable Roquefort accompanied by superb local wines such as Marcillac or Estaing.
