Provence is characterised by its large lavender fields in June and July and a sunny and hot climate from May to October. The mediterranean vegetation, big colourful markets, hill top villages, as well as the unique architecture (large houses called “Mas”) make Provence an idyllic place for weddings and family gatherings.
The local gastronomy is also fantastic: sunny and colourful, it uses a lot of garlic, olive oil, Provence herbs, sun dried tomatoes, melons etc…without forgetting the wines, produced locally in the many vineyards of the region.
But the Provence region is also about its atmosphere: a “je ne sais quoi” where the simplest things have a special charm: sit at a terrasse under a sycamore tree, listen to the cicadas and comment the petanque match whilst sipping a pastis…Here you are, feeling so relaxed!
