Packed full of character, Domaine Saint Olivier is a picture perfect venue for a wedding in South of France: secluded but with superb views, it is an idyllic hideaway to get married!

The Domaine has several plus points that makes it a real gem for weddings.

Firstly the venue consists of a large French looking “Mas” (once home to an Augustine convent), surrounded by 55 hectares of olive groves, meadows and vineyards…

In addition, the estate is perfectly adapted to weddings: there is a beautiful reception hall for 100 people and for a bigger party (up to 150 people) you could hire a marquee.

We have to mention the panoramic views over the famous Pic St Loup. It makes a fantastic backdrop for group wedding pictures and romantic shots!

Plus the pool overlooks the mountain views and is a great spot for your brunch the day after.

Domaine Saint Olivier can sleep up to 24 people in 4 pretty cottages, all very tastefully decorated. The privatisation of the venue runs from Thursday to Tuesday, which allows you to make the most of the place with your friends and family over a good few days. There is also plenty of hotels nearby for the rest of your guests.

Finally, the manager, Claire, can organise for you and your guests horse riding and wine tasting during your stay.

To summarise, we think Domaine Saint Olivier would be very well suited to couples looking to get married in a secret, exclusive wedding venue in the South of France which combines character, tranquility and sheer elegance.

Things to do in the area: don’t miss exploring the Pic St Loup (15 km) and combine it with a wine tasting tour; the nearest golf course is 15 minutes away and you can also do some canoeing nearby; visit the lovely village of Sommières (15 km); a bit further discover the UNESCO Pont du Gard (1hr) and the beautiful medieval town of Uzès, Avignon and its famous “Palais des Papes” (87 km) as well as Nîmes (44 km), well known for its roman amphitheatre and bullfighting.
