“Hello, I’m Jeremie Bertrand, a wedding photographer based on the French Riviera, and I’ve been capturing love for over 12 years.
My approach is to help couples immortalize their big day as stress-free as possible. I love capturing emotions, laughter, tears of joy, and surprises. I pay attention to all the important little details of the big day.
Discovering Amanda & Adrien’s Story at Chateau d’Argent
Take Amanda & Adrien’s story, for example. I had the pleasure of meeting them on Elodie’s recommendation (wedding planner at Mademoiselle Events). We instantly connected, meeting over coffee in Antibes (where they reside part of the year). I find meeting the bride and groom before the big day crucial. Even if they live far away, this helps them get a better feel for the day and allows me to explain my working style and address any questions they may have. After the meeting, we exchanged a few emails, and everything was expertly handled by Elodie.
Every aspect of a wedding day is important to me; I can’t pick out one part because storytelling is paramount. It all began with smooth preparations thanks to a superb team, even as tension mounted leading up to the ceremony.
The Magnificence of Chateau d’Argent: A Provence Wedding Gem
I recall perfect weather that day and guests who were each more elegant than the last. The ceremony unfolded in front of the Chateau’s main entrance—a perfect location with a simply stunning landscape.
As Amanda entered the ceremony, all eyes were on her, and I could feel the emotion through my lens. It was a wonderful ceremony, full of laughter and emotion.
Amanda & Adrien’s French Wedding Unfolds at Chateau d’Argent
The cocktail hour in the gardens followed, with dancing, chatting, and laughter. Amanda & Adrien opted for fewer group photos (a recommendation to make the most of the wedding), allowing ample time for their couple photos. We strolled down the majestic Chateau d’Argent driveway, capturing photos in the shade of the olive trees, finishing with the chateau as a backdrop. Despite their initial discomfort in front of the lens, I tried to make myself as inconspicuous as possible, allowing them to enjoy the moment.
The evening continued with dinner in the interior courtyard, beautifully decorated by Laura de Gloriosa Design Floral. This was followed by an intense dance session, masterfully led by the live band.
As a photographer, the Chateau d’Argent is a unique place for me. I dreamt of it for years before working there several times, and it has never disappointed. The interior is grandiose, skillfully decorated, and very spacious—ideal for us photographers. The outside is breathtaking, providing endless photo opportunities. I highly recommend it.
