Chateau d’Argent is an exceptional Provence wedding venue, a hidden gem nestled in the vineyards and close to the glorious French Riviera.
Chateau d’Argent truly is a fairy tale chateau. Its long alley of palm trees, impressive towers appearing from far away and its secluded environment makes this chateau the perfect venue to escape and celebrate with your friends and family.
If you are a wine lover, there’s no doubt that you will also fall in love with this venue, for it is in the middle of vineyards, with superb views all around.
The Chateau itself is gorgeous and we like its warm, Provence outlook, with lavender shutters and honey coloured facades. The interiors will for sure live to the expectations with rooms and furniture oozing luxury.
Now imagine your wedding day there, on a bright, sunny day in South of France…
From the moment they spot the silhouette of the Chateau your guests will draw “Ah” of excitement. Once arrived, let them stroll in the gardens to eventually stumble upon a perfect oasis for your wedding ceremony. Then have the wedding dinner outside, or in the reception hall that can cater for up to 140 people.
For the day after the wedding you could have a brunch by the pool, or even arrange for your guests to gather in the chic St Tropez.
Chateau d’Argent can sleep up to 26 people in 12 exquisite bedrooms. There are plenty of accommodation nearby to host the rest of your guests. Also on the grounds are a small chapel (perfect for wedding photoshoots), a tennis court and a helicopter pad.
To summarise, we think Chateau d’Argent would perfectly suit a couple who is after an outstanding, luxurious wedding venue in Provence or Riviera.
Things to do in the area: the village of Cotignac, only 7 km from the Chateau, is wonderful and typically Provençal with its 18 fountains and lively town squares, bakeries, art galleries and restaurants. Because the village is at the foothill of a cliff, you’ll also find some troglodyte houses. Besides the unspoiled countryside of Provence, you’ll be close to the buzzing and glamorous Riviera, with the mythic St Tropez just 70 minutes away. Finally, if you want to have a swim somewhere, you’ll be spoiled with choice with nearby lakes, Mediterranean beaches and the magnificent Gorges du Verdon which are 15 km away.
