Just 35 minutes from Paris and Versailles, Chateau Laduchesse is a fairytale wedding venue. This neo-Renaissance gem, with a rich history featuring kings and American artistocracy, is surrounded by 500 acres of woodland, in the gorgeous valley of Chevreuse. We love this venue for the way it combines the charm of a 13th-century estate with the elegance of modern-day hospitality – making it one of the most magical wedding venues in Ile-de-France.
A Parisian Wedding Venue in the Heart of Nature
Your wedding day at Chateau Laduchesse will unfold like a scene from a classic French film.
Begin with a romantic ceremony in the exceptional arboretum, surrounded by centuries-old trees and manicured gardens.
Cocktail hour will take place on the château’s terraces, followed by dinner under fairy lights. If you prefer an indoor option, look forward to dining in the grand reception room (seating up to 80) or in the stylish glasshouse, which can accommodate up to 150 guests.
Elegant Accommodation, Gourmet Food and a Dedicated Team
Throughout the weekend expect exquisite catering from a handpicked selection of top-tier French chefs, each offering refined, bespoke menus. In particular on the day after your wedding you could treat your guests to a recovery Royal Brunch, created in collaboration with a renown chef once voted “Best Pastry Chef in the World”.
The château sleeps up to 42 guests across 12 double and triple rooms, with additional accommodation just five minutes away at a partner hotel that can host a further 100 guests – ensuring everyone stays either on site or within a short drive.
We especially love how the bedrooms have been renovated to a high standard, oozing luxury and style, with superking beds, top-quality bedding, original fabrics, and Carrara marble bathrooms.
Lastly, we have to highlight the in-house team and their commitment to excellence. Every detail is thoughtfully managed to ensure your wedding reflects your vision – graceful, personal, and unforgettable.
Green credentials: At Chateau Laduchesse, efforts are made to limit food waste as much as possible. Flowers are reused, with guests invited to take small bouquets home, or arrangements distributed to team members, local schools, and healthcare centres.
