Chateau Canet

An unforgettable experience for Gillian and I, as well as all of our friends and family. Victoria, Anna and the rest of the Canet team made the whole planning process seamless and enjoyable. They were also very present and supportive on the wedding weekend itself to ensure everything went smoothly. We cannot recommend this venue enough for a wedding. We love visiting the south of France on holiday and Chateau Canet captures the beauty of this part of the world effortlessly. We initially wanted to get married in Provence, but we can definitively say that Canet was a superior and more cost-effective option. All of our friends and family loved staying in the on-site cottages, with Chardonnay cottage being a particular hit! We opted for limited floral decorations as we believed the venue had more than enough innate beauty as evidenced by the photos!

When we were searching for our wedding venue, we spent three days in France visiting various properties. The moment we drove up the driveway to Château Canet, we knew this was the one. Anna’s warm welcome when we arrived and the care she took in showing us around made us fall in love with the place. After the tour, we sat in the office enjoying a glass of bubbles and that sealed the deal, we just knew it was the right choice for us. In the winter before our wedding, the château hosted a tasting weekend for all the couples getting married the following year. It was such a thoughtful touch, we got to meet the suppliers, spend more time with Anna, Victoria and connect with other couples to share ideas. It really set the tone for how special the whole experience would be. We had our wedding at Château Canet in July this year, and it was absolutely spectacular. From start to finish, Anna and Victoria were incredible, they guided us through every decision, recommended exceptional suppliers and suggested perfect spots on the property for each part of our celebration. Their idea to organise a recovery day picnic was a huge hit with our guests! Everyone was blown away by how stunning the venue is. The wine deserves special mention, the quality and taste were outstanding and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. We even drove down with our dog Lincoln and were able to take some bottles home with us. Floris gave us a fascinating tour of the winery, which made the experience even more memorable! The entire team at Château Canet went above and beyond to make our wedding unforgettable. We partied late into the night, and everyone had the most amazing time. As a bonus, our wedding fell on Bastille Day weekend, so on the final night we stayed at the property with family and went into Carcassonne to enjoy the festivities and fireworks, the perfect ending to a perfect few days. The perfect wedding venue! We got married here in October 2025, and we hosted our friends and family for three days of celebrations. From the very beginning, we felt that we were in safe hands with Anna and the team. Even before making our booking we were provided with lots of information to help us make our decision and enable us to envision what a wedding at Chateau Canet could look like. Upon booking we were given a "black book" of trusted vendors to help us with making our choices, but no pressure to stick with these vendors if we wished to choose another. We were also given an amazing shared document to encourage us to think about all the details needed to plan our wedding and suggested timelines to make these decisions. Anna was there every step of the way and made the process completely stress-free. Any questions that we had during the planning process were responded to quickly. Anna has the most amazing attention to detail and ensured that everything was considered over the entire wedding weekend, including food (and being very diligent with any food intolerances/allergies), drinks, location of events and timings. In March 2025 we were invited to a planning weekend with other couples who had also booked their weddings for 2025. This was a lovely opportunity to see the venue and try the accommodation ahead of our wedding weekend. We were also able to try our menu and meet with local vendors as part of this weekend. By the time our wedding came around we felt that everything was completely handled and we could relax knowing that Anna and the team understood our vision and everything was thought of. For the entire wedding weekend the team at Chateau Canet made sure that everything ran smoothly with minimal input needed from us so we could focus on soaking it all up. Victoria led a wonderful cellar tour for our guests on the first evening and we had lots of compliments on the tour and the wine. We also had a pizza truck on-site that night that was a huge hit with our guests. On the wedding day itself, Anna had liaised with all of the vendors so that they all knew where to be/at what time, so we were not being asked for direction on the day. The entire team were incredibly friendly and professional with us and all of our guests and made the day run so perfectly. We have had so many compliments from our guests about our wedding, from the venue itself and it's beautiful grounds to the delicious food, attentive and friendly team, and comfortable accommodation. We had 42 of our guests stay with us on site and it worked perfectly. We also benefited from gorgeous weather so the pool was put to good use during our stay! Overall, we had the most fantastic experience with Chateau Canet and it felt like they were just as excited about it all as we were. We cannot thank Anna and Victoria and the rest of the team enough for everything they have done for us. We are already plotting our return!

I had my wedding here with my husband this past Saturday and I can genuinely say it was the most perfect weekend of my whole entire life. Aside from the weekend itself, the genuine care and kindness from our very first meeting with Anna was noticed immediately. We keep talking about the fact that so many people complain about wedding planning and how difficult and stressful it is, and we laugh because ours was a breeze. There was not one stressful moment in the planning process. Any questions, challenges, or desires were dealt with immediately and appropriately. The whole team at Canet went above and beyond to bring our dreams to reality. The grounds of the chateau are immaculate. The accommodations blew our guests away. The food through the entire weekend was absolutely delicious. The wine is better than what can be described with words. Every single moment was beyond 5 stars. Our wedding day itself was truly better than anything we could have imagined. Anna, Victoria and Floris left a mark on us that we will never ever forget. They truly open their arms and take you and your guests in as their own for the entire weekend. No body wanted to leave. Thank you so much, Anna, Victoria and Floris from The bottom of our hearts for giving us the best weekend of our entire life. We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives! We will be counting the days until we can come back and visit again.

. We can't even begin put into words as to how amazing Victoria and Anna were for us for our wedding this May. They were so warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The venue is beautiful and was truly the most perfect setting for our wedding weekend. The venue lends itself to hosting different events across the weekend perfectly with wine tasting, ceremony, cocktail hour, wedding breakfast, reception and day after event all in different locations around the grounds. We started our weekend with a wine tour and tasting with Floris followed by charcuterie. Learning about Canet's wine was an incredible experience and there was such a lovely flow to the evening. A great welcome for our guests. We truly couldn't have imagined anything better. The team make the whole wedding planning experience extremely easy which was very reassuring and makes the whole process stress free. The breadth of supplier contacts they have aliviated pressures as we weren't based in France and any new suppliers we brought in were brought up to speed on the ins and outs without ourselves needing to do anything. Our guests and ourselves couldn't recommend Chateau Canet (and their wine) enough! Memories that will last a lifetime and somewhere we cannot wait to revisit.
