Chateau Perigourdin is a beautiful country chateau whose views over the Dordogne river are unbeatable.
Located in one of the most beautiful villages of France and in the gorgeous region of Dordogne, Chateau Perigourdin rests at the top of a mountain, yet is secluded from prying eyes.
Simply drive up the hill from the village and you’ll find yourself surrounded by tranquil nature. Continue on up and as soon as you catch a glimpse of the chateau, you’ll be under its spell.
The grounds can sleep about 60 people: 32 people in 14 elegant bedrooms in the chateau, 4 people in an apartment, 8 people in a cottage and 15 in the two farmhouse opposite. You will find plenty of accommodation for the rest of your guests in the villages nearby.
For reception under 130 people, you could have your dinner inside, in the connecting lounges, or outside in the garden facing the valley. For more than 130 people, you might want to rent a marquee in case of rain.
There are different options when it comes to the ceremony: the delightful chapel (that can host up to 100 people standing), the garden à la française filled with roses and fruit trees, or even the woods with its cave sheltering a statue of the Virgin Mary… here your guests will also be gob-smacked by the view over the Dordogne river.
Finally let’s mention the pool with magnificent views, a kitchen and bbq, that would make a great spot for the brunch on the day after the wedding.
Things to do in the area: the gorgeous villages of Dordogne such as Castelnaud-la-Chapelle (2km), La Roque Gageac (6 km), Beynac (8 km) Sarlat (15 km), kayaking and canoeing on the river Dordogne, wine tasting, biking, visit of famous prehistoric caves such as Lascaux, local markets….
