La Belle Eco is a sustainable French estate created for romantic souls seeking a celebration rooted in nature, beauty, and meaning. Set across ten acres of woodland, gardens, and meadows in the South West of France, we appreciate this tranquil haven for its artistic character, warm sense of welcome, and deep commitment to ecological living. Despite its secluded setting, the estate lies just moments from Carcassonne, offering both retreat and easy access.
A unique eco estate with Art Deco features in the South of France
Nestled within ancient woodland managed as a nature reserve, La Belle Eco is a faithfully restored Manor and homestead where architecture, landscape, and craftsmanship meet.
Throughout the house and outbuildings, Art Deco details have been carefully preserved and restored, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and lived-in.
Ceremony & Celebrations at La Belle Eco
Begin your celebration in the enchanting Secret Garden or the ‘Fairy Prairie’, surrounded by trees, wildflowers, and birdsong, for your ceremony and cocktail reception.
Dinner unfolds beneath a canopy of fairy lights, before moving to the spacious barn in the early hours, where the party can continue into the night.
The following day invites slower pleasures: long lunches, time in the gardens, and a swim in the natural pool, with moments of rest in the wood-fired hot tub, eco sauna, or massage room, and gentle games on the lawn.
Accommodation & Hosting
The estate welcomes a small circle of guests to stay on site, with accommodation for around 30 people across the Manor, glamping cabins, and a yurt, with the possibility to extend to 55 using additional beds and glamping options.
Ruby and Dimi, the owners and caretakers of La Belle Eco, welcome guests in the spirit of a country house gathering, creating an atmosphere that feels more like being welcomed into a friend’s home.
They work with a small number of trusted caterers who specialise in seasonal, locally sourced cuisine – sometimes grown in the gardens of La Belle Eco itself.
Sustainability & the Homestead Ethos: Sustainability lies at the heart of life at La Belle Eco. The estate is run as a living homestead, guided by permaculture principles and long-term stewardship of the land. From solar panels and natural insulation, to chemical-free no-dig gardens, biodiverse planting, and a naturally filtered swimming pool, every element reflects a commitment to working with nature rather than against it. Here, celebrations take place within an evolving landscape – one shaped as much by care and patience as by design.
