Perched in a peaceful village in the heart of the Lot region, Chateau d’Aynac is a true 15th-century marvel that offers a wedding experience like no other. Halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse and just 30 minutes from the iconic Rocamadour and the Gouffre de Padirac, this extraordinary six-storey chateau rises from the landscape with four round towers, dungeons, and a storybook silhouette that feels straight out of fairytale.
A Chateau Full of Character and Charm
Stepping inside, you’ll find interiors that beautifully balance the chateau’s past with an inviting, contemporary edge. Two majestic reception halls, each with original 17th-century painted ceilings and a grand central fireplace, set the tone for unforgettable celebrations. A bar area and vaulted cellar night club round out the party-perfect spaces.
At Chateau Bee, we particularly like the style of the bedrooms, as it stays true to the property’s historic character whilst feeling fresh and modern with use of natural materials like wood and exposed stone, paired with a soft, organic colour palette.
The Perfect Laid-Back Wedding Weekend
Weddings at Chateau d’Aynac are stylish yet totally unpretentious. With 8 hectares of parkland dotted with century-old trees, there’s ample space to host a laid-back outdoor ceremony, a mojito truck cocktail hour, or a relaxed Sunday brunch with a food truck and lawn games like pétanque and mini-golf. Guests can make the most of the outdoor pool or enjoy massages in the peaceful surroundings.
On site you will also find a gorgeous indoor pool, perfect to unwind on the days around the wedding.
Up to 55 guests can stay on site across 15 comfortable apartments – complete with linens and towels – creating the perfect opportunity to truly savour the weekend with family and friends. The castle’s rental includes Friday midday to Sunday afternoon, with the option to add extra nights upon request. You’re welcome to bring your own suppliers or use the chateau’s trusted local partners for catering, entertainment, photography, and more.
