Set in the peaceful countryside of Corrèze, close to the historic village of Pompadour, Chateau Eyparsac is designed for couples who want their destination wedding to feel like a proper getaway. Cream stone, mature gardens and woodland give the estate its traditional French character, while a courtyard with a fountain, a pond and a converted barn provide plenty of options for the celebrations. Better still, the entire estate is owned by an award-winning wedding planner, who will be on hand should you wish to benefit from her expertise.
Chateau Eyparsac, A French Chateau Wedding in South West France
At Chateau Eyparsac, there are several ways to shape your wedding day. Here is a suggested itinerary…
The day before your wedding, gather your guests in the courtyard for an outdoor meal under fairy lights — a chance to relax and catch up before the big day.
On your big day, have the ceremony in the gardens, surrounded by abundant flowers and mature trees, before everyone gathers for cocktails.
For dinner and dancing, the converted barn provides a fantastic indoor option. Its wooden oak beams and clear stone walls give the space plenty of character. Spread over two floors, it offers ample room for the evening celebrations, with no imposed cut-off time for the party, so you can dance the night away!
And the celebrations don’t need to end after the wedding night. The following day, gather everyone back together for a relaxed brunch or lunch by the pool, swapping stories from the night before and making the most of your time together.
Let’s also mention there is a traditional bread and pizza oven, perfect for a relaxed pizza night or informal meal in the days around the wedding.
Make a Holiday of Your Destination Wedding in France

There is also plenty to do between wedding events. Outside, guests can enjoy the heated saltwater pool, gardens and woodland walks. Head indoors and you’ll find an arcade games room, two snooker tables and table tennis, a golf practice area, and many seating and relaxing area around the grounds. A Private cinema room, complete with games, bar, a card room and champagne area for the ladies, offers another fantastic area for all generations.

Why We Selected Chateau Eyparsac
For us, one of Chateau Eyparsac’s greatest assets, besides its characterful charm, is the experience behind it. Owner Julie is an award-winning wedding planner with more than a decade in hospitality, and couples can choose anything from some guidance along the way to coordination or a full wedding-planning service. For international couples feeling slightly daunted by the prospect of organising a destination wedding in France, knowing that this expertise is available directly at the venue can make the whole experience considerably less stressful.
We also selected Chateau Eyparsac because it works particularly well for a multi-day celebration. Between the pool, cinema, games rooms and the beautiful surrounding countryside and villages, there is plenty to keep guests entertained before and after the wedding itself.
It is a particularly appealing choice for couples who want the charm of a private French château, but with plenty to do and experienced wedding support close at hand.
