The estate, dating back to the 12th century, has been lovingly restored by its owners over more than a decade, guided by their passion for horses, old stone and the landscapes of the Languedoc. Today, its historic buildings, vineyards, meadows and Mediterranean vegetation provide a beautiful backdrop for a wedding on the doorstep of Provence, with an exceptional amount of accommodation and facilities to enjoy throughout your stay.
A South of France Wedding Surrounded by Nature
With seven outside ceremony areas and four outside reception spaces, there are plenty of ways to make the estate your own. You could exchange your vows beneath the majestic plane trees before gathering for cocktails at L’Ombrière, with the Manor in the background.
For your dinner, picture a festive courtyard with festoon lights or head to Le Chai. Le Chai occupies the estate’s original wine cellars and is divided into two adjoining spaces. One of these spaces retains original wine vats, while the other, entirely white and softly backlit can be transformed to adapt to the theme and vibe of your celebration. Both spaces are air-conditioned and soundproofed, and the dance-floor is equipped. The celebrations can continue at the Chai with no set finishing time.
The estate will be privatised entirely from Friday morning until Monday morning, giving you time for a relaxed welcome evening before the wedding and a long brunch the following day.
Accommodation for All and Wedding Support
One of Domaine du Bon Temps’ greatest advantages for a destination wedding is its sleeping capacity. Up to 101 guests can stay on the historic estate itself, across five gîtes, seven hotel-style studios and a loft. Two contemporary villas located around 8 km away bring the total capacity to 131 guests, with shuttle transfers included on the wedding evening for complete peace of mind. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, making this a particularly comfortable option for a summer wedding in the South of France.
Your rental also comes with personal support from the team throughout the planning process, as well as 12 hours of in-house coordination for your wedding. The estate offers great flexibility in your choice of catering and suppliers, from relaxed welcome dinners to gourmet receptions, with a selection of recommended local professionals.
And there is plenty to keep everyone entertained between wedding events. The estate has two outdoor pools, including one heated from April to October, while one of the nearby villas has its own private pool. There is also a jacuzzi, infrared sauna, beach volleyball, table tennis and a children’s play area, as well as four pétanque courts, a giant trampoline suitable for adults too, a giant chess set and a multi-station fitness unit!
